Verizon's newest ad campaign has secured them a place in the Mikhailian Hall of Hatreds alongside (but not quite on par with) Apple. You know, I really think it's just ad campaigns that attack competitors. I just can't respect that at all. Sell your product by it's merits, not by showing us how it's the lesser of two evils. What are you, politicians? And on that note, I can't stand when they use that tactic either.
Recently AT&T has fired back with their anti-Verizon ads, but here I can't say I've lost any respect. For starters, their campaign is actually focused on tearing down Verizon's anti-AT&T ad campaign rather than at the company itself. In addition to that, they were attacked first. This Verizon slime campaign is probably costing them business.
As if attacking your competitor wasn't a dirty enough move on its own, Verizon is already the largest mobile provider in America. This ad campaign of theirs strikes me as overkill and flat-out bullying.
Good job turning off another potential customer, Verizon! I'm getting a nice shitlist going. |

I will never, ever be an adult. I will never master the art of sucking it up and getting ready for work and going to work consistently. I will go for weeks where I can do that, and then inevitably always forever there will be a slow decline in my ability to do that, to the point where eventually I will do as I did this morning and cry for hours about how I don't want to go and get to work around 10:30. And then when I get there, I will update my livejournal. because I am a child.
And I will never dig my car out of the snow. |

I need to regroup. This weekend I am staying home, staying in, cleaning, weatherizing, figuring out how to warm my bedroom, etc etc.
Should be very exciting. I'm supposed to go caroling tonight, and right now I'm supposed to do some MATH for WORK. whoo hoo. |
